Balancing the Scale

We fully support clean energy, but it's important to consider the potential impact that large industrial wind turbines could have on the delicate karst landscape and vital water aquifers in the Ozarks. Let’s come together to protect the unique and fragile beauty of the Ozarks from unnecessary harm.

What would the next generation want?

Founded in 2023, Concerned Citizens of the Ozarks was created in response to the growing misinformation regarding private property and water resources, the potential loss of our natural beauty, and the numerous environmental concerns of the time. We are a diverse group with ZERO tolerance for politicizing our collective group efforts. At the end of the day and regardless of your political preference, we all need clean water.

At Concerned Citizens of the Ozarks, our mission is to protect and preserve a way of life for future generations. We work towards maintaining a balance of rural, agri-friendly living with the tourism of our area while working to preserve the true meaning of water rights for all residents of the Ozarks.
